Chef Specialties Pepper Grinder

Chef Specialties specialty is pepper and salt grinders.I was in need of a decent pepper grinder and had just run across the Chef Specialties website while compiling information for this site. After comparing some options at retail (all imported) I took a serious look at the Made in USA options.

Chef Specialties makes a wide variety of wood body pepper grinders and mechanisms in the USA. They shipped quickly and I was more than impressed with the packaging. This is the ‘President’ model 12″ long in the ‘walnut’ finish (I believe it’s stained maple, and I consider it to look more like mahogany than walnut). This is a classic pepper grinder. The important parts of the grinder are made from stainless steel. The mechanism smooth and easy to adjust via the plated and knurled knob.
